A 24-year-old Afghan has injured several people with a car in Munich’s Maxvorstadt district. The act is causing great horror – especially in light of the recent attack in Aschaffenburg and the upcoming federal elections. The security situation and increasing radicalization via social media raise urgent questions.
ACIPSS researcher, political scientist and terrorism researcher Dr. Florian Hartleb was a guest at the event and put the events in context. He emphasized that TikTok radicalization had reached a new dimension within jihadist terrorism – a phenomenon that had already become apparent in Villach.
