On the Complexity of Implementation

The ‘fight against the right’ is currently a hot topic. A massive wave of demonstrations has begun. A report by the investigative network ‘Correctiv’ sparked a renewed debate in January 2024 about a secret meeting in Potsdam, where, among others, representatives of the AfD and the far-right Identitarian Movement deliberated on the expulsion of millions of people with a migration background from Germany. The parliamentary discourse has changed due to the AfD, also through breaches of taboo and other slippages. Thus, Germany is catching up on developments that are known from numerous other European countries.
