More than 400 researchers in the field of criminology gathered in Málaga, Spain, from 21 to 24 September 2022 for the 22nd annual conference of the European Society of Criminology to discuss current trends in the field. ACIPSS researcher Dr Florian Hartleb presented a paper on “Demonstrations against Corona Measures in Austria and Germany”, which he is developing together with Paul Schliefsteiner. The panel on “Anti-Government Extremism” was organised by the renowned Norwegian Professor Tore Bjørgo, Director of the Center for Research on Extremism at the University of Oslo. The well-known Austrian publicist Julia Ebner also took part.
