On 11 December 2024, ACIPSS researcher Stefan Auer gave his lecture entitled “Propaganda, Disinformation & Extremism – Mechanisms of Media Radicalization” as part of the lecture series on extremism at the Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz, in which he addressed the many human, political and technological factors that play a role when people become radicalized via media consumption and adopt extremist positions.
