Anti-Semitism is on the rise again in Europe. The brutal Hamas attack on Israeli civilians on October 7, 2023 has acted as a catalyst for growing hatred of Jews. The ongoing conflict in the Middle East could escalate in the long term, which could further increase anti-Semitism in Europe too.

It offers well-founded insights into the current challenges we have to deal with. It addresses the various forms of modern anti-Semitism – from Holocaust denial to the anti-Semitism of the extreme left and in the Islamic world to anti-Zionism and the sometimes misunderstood criticism of Israel that serves as a cover for hatred of Jews. What is new are digital technologies and the changed geopolitical context, which favor and spread these forms of anti-Semitism.
