The Middle East is currently experiencing a period of profound geopolitical tension. Iran plays a central role in this context — both as a regional power and as an actor in conflicts whose effects reach far beyond the region.
At our next ACIPSS event, Dr. Walter Posch will speak about current developments and examine Iran’s role in the present security situation.
Dr. Walter Posch is an orientalist and researcher at the Institute for Peace Support and Conflict Management at the National Defence Academy in Vienna. He is also a member of ACIPSS.
