We are pleased to announce that the Austrian Maritime Conference has been officially recognized as a UN Ocean Decade Activity. This strongly underscores our contribution to the international discussion on maritime security, sustainability, and the role of Austria as a landlocked state in the maritime century.
As part of #AMC25, we will address Austria’s maritime interests, security challenges, and future courses of action on 14 November 2025 at the University of Graz. The conference highlights how closely Austria is connected to global maritime developments through trade, infrastructure, and international dynamics – despite lacking direct access to the sea.
