The recent terrorist attack in Villach raises many pressing questions:
What causes young Muslims to become so radicalized that they commit serious acts of violence? Where are the weak points in integration and what measures are needed now?
These and other topics were the focus of the Ö1 Journal Panorama plain text discussion, in which ACIPSS Director Paul Schliefsteiner also took part. Among other things, the discussion focused on possible preventative measures and the question of whether the controversial monitoring of messenger services on smartphones is a sensible response to the threat of Islamist terror.
