According to a recent intelNews analysis, Austrian security authorities are warning of a significant rise in espionage activities targeting the Austrian Armed Forces. Observed activities include drone flights over military installations as well as traditional surveillance efforts.
There is also a growing reliance on digitally recruited civilians, who are used for simple espionage or sabotage tasks.
