Since 2020, he has been a PhD student and research associate at the Trier Institute for Democracy and Party Research (TIDuP) at the University of Trier. He studied political science and philosophy at the Justus Liebig University Giessen and Loughborough University in the United Kingdom. In addition to his research focus on Intelligence Studies, extremism, and conspiracy theories, his doctoral project involves intelligence concepts of extremism, with a special focus on anti-government extremism in Austria, Germany, and the Netherlands.
