Dr., is an independent analyst focusing on political issues relating to Central and Eastern Europe. Previously, she worked as a researcher and lecturer with the Competence Center Black Sea Region at the University of Applied Sciences (BFI) Vienna. She wrote numerous articles on political risks in Russia and Ukraine and drafted papers about energy topics concerning Eastern Europe and the EU. Martyna-David worked as a political consultant specialized in EU affairs in Vienna. Between 1998 and 2008, she held various positions at the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
