is Canadian Junior Staff Officer at NATO. She works in the Standardization Office’s Policy and Coordination Branch where she focuses on interoperability and standardization amongst NATO allies and partners. Ghasem has a Master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from the American Graduate School in Paris and a Master’s degree in International Law and Economics from Paris Saclay University. She completed her undergraduate degree at McMaster University in Canada, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Peace Studies. Her areas of focus include the Middle East and North Africa. She has published a number of articles pertaining to political affairs and security policy in the region.
