Last Sunday, a discussion titled “Spy Greetings from Vienna – The Betrayed Republic?” took place on the ORF 2 program “Im Zentrum,” focusing on the case of Egisto Ott and its consequences. Our director, Paul Schliefsteiner, participated alongside JIPSS editor Dieter Bacher, who represented the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for War Consequences Research. Along with other studio guests, they discussed the challenges of espionage defense in Austria and the far-reaching political consequences this incident entails.
