Due to the (current) sharp rise in anti-Semitic attacks and crimes, affiliated researcher Dr. Florian Hartleb edited a timely study on behalf of the Vienna-based European Institute for Counter Terrorism and Conflict Prevention.

Anti-Semitism poses a threat to our liberal society and must be vigorously combated, regardless of ideology, political convictions or religious beliefs. The virtual dimension on the internet and via social media in particular has taken on a new dynamic, as can be seen from several contributions in the study. It should therefore be a national and international priority to take rigorous legal measures against all forms of anti-Semitism, but also to develop and rapidly implement effective prevention programs.
